Thank you for stopping by my website. In addition to being an author, I am a school librarian, and I always love to talk about children's books. Here's some information about mine.
No English is the story of two second grade girls who find a creative way to overcome a language barrier. Featured on Just One More Book.com, praised by Booklist, Library Media Connection, The Washington Post Book World, and others, this story was inspired by my own experiences working in a school with students from over 90 different countries. A full teacher's guide is available on the Mitten Press website.
The Princess and The Ziz is the fourth book in a series of books which began with The Hardest Word. In this adventure, the giant yellow bird is called upon to watch over King Solomon's daughter and in true fairytale fashion, helps the princess find her prince.
Abraham's Search for God is the first title in a series of bible stories. Honored by the Sydney Taylor award committee and chosen as a PJ Library selection, Abraham's Search for God is the story of the childhood of Abraham, the father of three great religions. Sarah Laughs, also a PJ Library selection, continues the story of Abraham through the eyes of his wife, Sarah.
